Why Book a Luxury B&B holiday this winter

by | 10 October, 2019

Morzine and Les Gets are both traditional villages situated at the very centre of the Portes du Soleil in the French Alps. The perfect base from which to ski in Avoriaz and explore other popular surrounding areas. With an astonishing 650km of pistes to explore across 12 resorts, you really are spoilt for choice.

As well as choosing the location, another essential part of ski holiday planning is deciding on the type of accommodation you want to stay in and the style of package that will suit your group best. The obvious choice is between a fully catered ski chalet or a self-catered apartment and of course, there are pros and cons to both holiday types. We know it can be tricky to decide on an option that will keep everyone in the group happy … so wouldn’t it be simply fantastic to be able to choose something in-between?

Look no further for a flexible alternative to a fully catered chalet in Morzine with our luxury B&B package, which offers guests all the freedom they could ever desire!

Chalets Les Gets

Luxury B&B means …

exclusive use of the chalet

We know the phrase ‘B&B’ is usually associated with shared occupancy of a chalet but with our luxury B&B package that is absolutely not the case! Benefit from excellent service provided by your chalet host and enjoy exclusive use of the chalet for the entire week. Chalet Chardon in Morzine and Chalet Louis in Les Gets are both available on a luxury B&B basis throughout the winter.

Morning hosting and housekeeping

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day when you’re skiing. With our luxury B&B package you’ll enjoy a cooked and continental breakfast each morning, prepared by your dedicated chalet host. Nothing says a trip to the French Alps quite like croissants, pain au chocolats and baguettes delivered fresh from the bakery! Enjoy a wonderful day on the slopes and when you return, the beds will be made, the chalet will be cleaned and afternoon tea will be ready and waiting for you. Sounds pretty perfect, right? There’s more …

local driving service

As with our fully catered package, a luxury B&B holiday includes daily slope-shuttles throughout the week, with a personal driver in one of our legendary Land Rover Defenders. Our friendly and professional drivers are available every day from 8.30am – 7.30pm so that you can access the chalet, slopes and town with absolutely no hassle. Evening taxis are available on request up until 11.30pm, so you can easily explore the restaurants in Morzine and Les Gets by night.

Flexible Evenings

The real beauty of our luxury B&B package is that it leaves you free to choose exactly how to spend your evenings. Morzine and Les Gets offer a fantastic range of restaurants where you can feast on local Savoyard specialities until your heart’s content! But if you really feel like indulging then one of our private chefs can come into the chalet and prepare a delicious three-course meal for you. Fancy something a bit more casual? Order a delivery from our “meals on wheels” menu. Each evening can be different so you can keep the entire group happy. Isn’t it nice just to mix it up a bit sometimes after all?

We can also stock the chalet up with wines from our extensive list ahead of your arrival and if you think you’ll be cooking for yourselves then we can do a groceries shop for you too! As always, our aim is to make your holiday as hassle free as possible.
