What’s more, the money saver ‘Multi Pass’ will help you to make the most of it all without burning a hole in your pocket. You’ll have access to the summer Multi Pass when you book your accommodation with us!

Read on to find out more about our favourite summer activities in Morzine…

Hiking

Whether you fancy a gentle stroll to a stunning waterfall or a bit more of a challenge in the mountains, this breathtaking area really does have something for everyone and what better way to top up your tan? So dig out your walking boots and get ready to explore the beautiful mountains of the Portes du Soleil. There are actually 800km of signposted footpaths so you better get cracking!

There are various difficulties depending on the type of trail you’d like to hike which is what makes it one of our favourite summer activities in Morzine.

Visiting the many lakes in the area

Lac de Montriond is located just outside of Morzine and is easily accessed by bike, bus or car. The panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking, making it the ideal summer activity in Morzine.

A few of our other favourite lakes in the area are; Lac Des Écoles (Les Gets), Lake Vonnes, Chatel and Lake Geneva.

Golfing

Experience the most stunning alpine vistas from perfectly cut fairways of Morzine golf courses and the rest of the Portes du Soleil. Step up your golfing game and experience new challenges which could test even the most seasoned golfers!

There is an 18 hole, par 70 course in Les gets which will test any golfer of their true ability. It is located on the edge of the forest and the course follows the landscape and the lay of the land, with each hole named after one of the surrounding peaks. There is also a 9 hole course located on a plateau overlooking the Morzine valley with a view over the Aravis mountain range. The Avoriaz golf course is nestled in a picturesque setting and is a great place to improve your technique or to get involved competitively.

Playing Tennis

There are 9 excellently maintained tennis courts in the centre of Morzine, open from around 9th June – 2nd September. Use of the 4 hard courts is included with the summer ‘Multipass’ and you’ll receive a 50% discount on the hourly rates for rental of a clay court. If you or another member of your group need some lessons (kids or adults) then there are some great packages available; check the website for further details.

Visiting Avoriaz

Avoriaz is located just above Morzine. If you look closely you’ll spot the uniquely designed buildings that were built to blend in with the cliff. You can access Avoriaz by driving up or taking the Super Morzine gondola, then the zore chairlift and from there it’s just a 30 minute flat walk with beautiful views. There is also the option to drive to the bottom of the Prodains gondola and it will take you all the way up there.

There are many things to do in Avoriaz during the summer months including the famous waterpark ‘Aquariaz’. The water park is complete with a lazy river, outdoor Jacuzzi, rope swing, rubber ring flume and toddler’s slide and fountain area. What’s more, you can access Aquariaz with your Multi Pass!

These are just a few of our favourite summer activities in Morzine. If you’d like more information then please don’t hesitate to ask upon booking and we will be more than happy to help.
